The collection is named after the Kinyarwanda word for light. It represents the light within us that guides us on our path. It celebrates the old and the new generations, The old generation who held the light and new who are changing the narrative and paving the way for future generations.
HIGHLIGHTS
It is a reflection of the designer's journey, the people he has met, and the challenges that were faced. It's about embracing opportunities, blessings, hard work, and gratitude. The collection is light and effortless, like a bird flying or a river flowing. It represents guidance, movement, and freedom. The materials used are light and forgiving, representing peace with oneself and one's surroundings.
